As of June 2026, about 90% of the students who graduated from our program have passed the Illinois state barber's license exam and are employed in the barber/cosmetology industry. With flexible class schedules (days, evenings, Saturdays, part-time and full-time) and start dates near the 1st and 15th of every month, at DCBA, you will receive hands-on training with real clients, preparing you to be a trained and dedicated licensed barber with the potential to make $150,000 a year (and more depending on how you use your license) in about 9-15 months.
